Elevate any translucent UV-reactive specimen with this clean, minimal Wood UV LED Display Base — available in three sizes to fit everything from small collector pieces to substantial spheres. Crafted from natural wood with a smooth finish, the base houses a built-in UV LED light that powers up via standard USB-A connection with an in-line button switch, instantly transforming UV-reactive minerals, calcite, fluorite, and spheres into glowing, dramatic display pieces.

Choose your size:

• Small — 2.35" outer diameter | Recommended sphere size 2" - 3"
• Medium — 3.05" outer diameter | Recommended sphere size 3" - 4"
• Large — 3.90" outer diameter | Recommended sphere size 4" - 5"

Spheres under 3" are not recommended on the medium or large sizes as it will not sit properly. The example photo is a small base with 2.9" Pink Mangano Sphere (sphere not included).

For the best results, the specimen needs to have some degree of translucency — the UV light works by passing through the stone, not just reflecting off the surface. Dense or opaque stones won't light up the way you'd hope. For example, most Volcano Agate — beautiful as it is — doesn't have enough translucency to glow. On the other hand, it pairs beautifully with our Pink Mangano Calcite Spheres, which come alive under UV in a way that's nothing short of spectacular. Add a Pink Mangano Sphere here.
