Refund policy
At Putnam Valley Trading Co., we are dedicated to providing you with unique, hand-selected natural treasures that you will cherish. Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of each item in our curated collection, we offer a carefully considered return policy to ensure fairness for both our valued customers and our distinctive pieces.
Return Window: You may initiate a return by contacting us via email within 5 days of delivery of your item.
Eligibility for Non-Damaged Returns:
- To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned to us in the exact same condition it was in when it left our warehouse. The customer is responsible for securely packaging the item to prevent any damage during return shipping.
- We cannot issue a refund or store credit if the item is returned damaged due to poor packaging by the customer.
- All returns are subject to approval after a thorough inspection by Putnam Valley Trading Co.
Your Refund Options: For all approved non-damaged returns, you have two options:
- Store Credit: We can issue a full refund in the form of a unique gift code for the original purchase price (excluding shipping costs). This option has no restocking fee.
- Credit Card Refund: We can issue a refund to your original payment method, minus the original shipping cost and a 10% restocking fee to cover our handling and processing costs.
Refunds for Damaged Items:
- Your satisfaction is paramount. If your item arrives damaged upon immediate inspection, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will require clear photographic or video evidence of the damaged item as well as the shipping box and all internal and external packaging.
- Upon verification and approval, you will be offered a full refund to your original payment method or a replacement (if a comparable unique item is available). Putnam Valley Trading Co. will cover the return shipping costs for damaged items.
How to Initiate a Return:
- To begin the return process, please contact us immediately at customerservice@putnamvalleytrading.com with your order number.
- For all returns, we require clear photographic or video evidence of the item's condition before you ship it back to us. This helps ensure a smooth process and protects both you and us in the event of damage during return transit.
- We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and detailed instructions on how and where to send your item. Items returned to us without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Return Shipping & Processing
For returns not due to our error or shipping damage, please note:
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We can provide a return label, and the cost will be deducted from your final refund or store credit amount.
- Refund/Credit Timing: Refunds or store credits will be issued promptly once the returned item has been received and inspected and we have confirmed the item is in the condition it was shipped.
Order Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel an order you have placed with us, please contact us at customerservice@putnamvalleytrading.com before your order ships.
If you cancel after payment is captured but before shipment, we’ll refund to your original payment method. If our processor keeps its fee, we may deduct up to 4%. Choose store credit for 100% back.
Non-Returnable Items
Please note that certain items are not eligible for return. This will be stated clearly in the product's description. All items in the "Artisan's Revival" collection are non-returnable.
