At an impressive 7.3 inches in diameter and 18.7 pounds, this extraordinary sphere is a substantial natural statement piece showcasing an unusually complex combination of brecciated Volcano Agate, moss-like agate formations, translucent chalcedony, and richly contrasting mineral zones.

Cream and ivory brecciated sections sweep across portions of the sphere alongside earthy olive, rust, burgundy, brown and charcoal tones. Other areas transition into translucent material containing mossy inclusions, creating remarkable depth beneath the polished surface. Rather than presenting a uniform pattern, the sphere changes dramatically as it is turned, revealing completely different compositions from one side to the next.

Under 365nm UV light, select areas reveal another hidden feature: concentrated zones fluoresce an exceptionally bright neon green. The fluorescence is limited to particular mineral-rich areas rather than covering the entire sphere, making the intense glowing sections especially striking against the surrounding stone. Its combination of tremendous size, brecciated structure, mossy agate formations and strong localized UV response makes this an especially unusual example of Volcano Agate.
