This Reserve Mexican Crazy Lace Agate & Sarape Jasper Slab is a striking one-of-a-kind display piece, measuring approximately 10.25" wide, 8.5" tall, and .5" thick and weighing 3.2 lbs. The polished face reveals an exceptionally complex mix of blue-gray, cream, burgundy, rust, charcoal, and earthy brown, with sweeping bands, brecciated sections, intricate mineral patterns, and small natural pockets that make nearly every area of the slab visually different.
This unusual Mexican material brings together the flowing, ribbon-like banding associated with Crazy Lace Agate, also known as Mexican Lace Agate, with the fragmented, richly colored appearance commonly sold as Sarape Jasper. Broad layers of lace-like agate transition into angular jasper formations, fortification-style patterns, and naturally occurring openings, creating remarkable depth across the surface. The front has been polished to a glossy finish, while the reverse remains rough and natural, preserving the slab’s original geological character.
