This Madagascar petrified wood slab, measuring 7.8" wide by 6.95" tall and 0.66" thick and weighing 2.12 lbs, arrives glowing with deep, smoldering browns layered with rich, saturated reds that seem to burn from within the stone. Sourced from Madagascar, it preserves the original wood grain with remarkable clarity, every line and figure a reminder of how timber was slowly transformed into enduring stone over centuries.
Both sides are polished to a gloss finish, and the detail runs straight through, so the reverse carries an equally compelling composition. Where the polish gives way to natural voids and rough, organic pockets, the stone shows its unfiltered character, a reminder that this was shaped by nature and not by design.
Display it on a shelf, mantel, or stand where the light can catch both faces. It's a piece of petrified forest you can turn over and be amazed by twice. Stand not included. Shop the Stands & Accessories Collection.
