Originating from sedimentary rocks in regions like Utah, Madagascar, or Morocco, these spheres are composed of calcite, aragonite, and limestone. Their characteristic cracked patterns result from mineral deposits filling the natural shrinkage cracks formed as ancient mud balls dried.
