Each of these Curator's Choice spheres are packed with genuine Orthoceras and Ammonite fossils sourced from Morocco, their sleek elongated forms preserved in rich black limestone. The natural contrast of light fossil against dark stone creates a bold, graphic quality that makes these spheres as visually compelling as any sculptural accent piece. Orthoceras were ancient marine cephalopods — distant relatives of the nautilus — and their straight, chambered shells are remarkably well-defined in each sphere.
