Longken Jasper is a form of brecciated jasper originating from the Yunnan province of China, prized for its dramatic natural patterning and rich, varied coloration. Like all brecciated jaspers, its distinctive look comes from natural fractures in the stone that were cemented back together over time, creating bold, one-of-a-kind patterns across every surface. This piece showcases a deep red body woven through with shifting tones of grey, black, beige, white, and golden yellow — each color a natural layer of the stone's unique formation.
This elephant has joined our Artisan's Revival Collection because of a small chip at the top of its ear/head. Tucked away at the highest point, it's hard to spot, especially when the elephant is displayed on a higher shelf. As with all Artisan's Revival pieces, this elephant is non-returnable.
